PPG PS870 B-2 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant

PPG PS 870 Class B is a two-part, manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide sealant that provides an effective barrier against corrosion on aluminum alloys and between dissimilar metals. Once cured, it retains elastomeric properties even after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.

The uncured sealant is a low-sag, thixotropic paste, making it easy to apply with an extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to create a resilient, durable seal with excellent adhesion to common aircraft materials.
